Why I chose cloth diapers:
When I brought my first child home from the hospital he had a blistering rash on his little bottom. Soon my mother came over with store bought cloth diapers. My mother said she "didn't trust those new fangled things" (meaning paper diapers) and cloth was best. She was right, the rash disappeared after switching. Those first diapers were not very thick and the covers were leaky. After many years of trial and error, I finally found products that not only work, but are so durable you can pass them down and they get softer with every wash!
